Still learning the ropes here. I passed my 757 written for the captain upgrade, but can't seem to find where to go to fly the checkride. The Flight Academy only offers an online pilot course.

Hey Michael! The check ride is mostly for switching into a new program. So since you're captain in 757, you could switch into the 767 for example by taking the 767 FO exam and then doing a 767 check ride.

Ahh...I didn't realize the written is all that's required for Captain upgrade. Or maybe it was a written plus another flight I did? Either way, cool!
I think the 767 (and 727) is a good goal for the near future, thanks!

For captain all you need is 10 valid flights and then you take the test and that's it!
Glad I could help =]

As Eddy said, you can take the 767 first officer test in the testing center, then when you pass, you can go to the Pilot Center and scroll down to "Switch Equipment Programs". You should then be able to request a checkride. The Flight Academy is only for VATSIM pilot courses, not for check rides. Enjoy your day!

Michael, You started in the 757 program so it works a bit differently. For other programs, you'll take a FO test, pass a checkride, and then take a captain's test after 10 valid flights. If you see additional ratings, you'll just take a FO test and the check ride.
