My Saitek Pro Yoke does not light up or is seen as a USB device in Win 10. Other USB devices are fine. It was working then suddenly died. Am I to assume its completely dead and has to be replaced, or is there a hardware or software fix for it. Thanks.
Arnie

Try disabling USB Power shutoff as described here http://www.avsim.com/topic/476889-saitek-flight-controllers-and-windows-10/
or if that doesn't work, download the Saitek Drivers for Windows 10 here http://madcatz.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/604/46/windows-10--saitek-hotas-beta-drivers-and-software-release

Don't give up on it Arnie. I had the same problem and a strange sequence of events between downloading drivers, changing USB ports and other things somehow brought it back to life.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I tried shutting usb power shutoff as well as many other things, including trying it on another computer. It didn't even make a blip on it. I think its toast. Its and old unit and maybe just died. When I try to install the drivers now, when it gets to the point where its looking for the yoke to be plugged in and I do so, it doesn't see it. I was looking around on the internet and it looks like now there's a major back order situation on the yoke. 30-90 days. Wow! It was that way many years ago when I bought it when they first came out. I cant believe they still have production issues.

I wonder if they are coming out with a new model of the yoke. It appears they may have stopped production on the current one.

I had the issue pop up yesterday for the first time after I upgraded Win10 to the Anniversary Update - build 1607.
Check out this link and read the last entry (as of writing this) from "tantonovich".
http://www.avsim.com/topic/479830-unable-to-install-saitek-yoke-drivers/
After installing the generic driver, I was then able to install the latest driver from Saitek and my yoke is working fine now.
Hope this helps.

I think I found my problem. I have a Roswell USB hub that I was plugging things into to expand my USB capability. Apparently, something happened with it. It took out my headphones, my yoke and my rudder pedals. They are non-functional. When you plug them in, the computer sees nothing.

Sorry to hear. I have the yoke plugged into one of the USB inputs on my mobo. This was the only device giving me issues after the upgrade. Go figure.

I had issues after upgrading to Windows 10 where my saitek kept turning on and off every two seconds. I resolved by not only installing properly the drivers but also the software.

My X-52 did the same as the original poster last night after an update to windows 10 installed..... had to remove USB plug, restart, re-install the drivers then plug back in. Relief is not the word when the lights all came back on and stayed on.......
