Cannot get acars 3.1 to run prepar3dv3 it only shows v2 do I need a migration tool.

ACARSv2 doesn't support Prepar3D v3. I'd upgrade to ACARS 3.

Thanks Luke I downloaded 3.2 and it wanted me to chose prepar3d v2. I don't have that downloaded on my comp.

I just downloaded acars 3.2 again this is what I see on the install menue Lockheed Martin Prepare 3d v2 has been detected in the following path. C:\program files(86)\prepar 3d v3 The next line asks me to select install for use with lockheed martin prepar 3d v2.
I don't have ve installed and acars gives me no choice for v3

As long as finding P3D in the right path your fine.

go download install FSUIPC (http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html) install that, then install ACARS, that worked for me when i had that same issue

Luke i had the same issue, when trying to install ACARS with only P3dv3 on my PC(without installing FSUIPC beforehand) it looks for the p3dv2 appdata folder and when it doesnt find it it reverts the install and undo all that it tried to install

That's fair - I think the challenge I have is that I treat all of the P3Ds (and all of the X-Planes) as a single sim. I'll check the Beta 4 installer to see what it's doing.

In the interim you can probably run the installer while not selecting FSUIPC or the Model Sets and see what happens.

Luke I rienstalled without fauipc still didn't work. My fsuipc4 install is fine. I have been working with prepar3dv3 for 6 months. I upgraded to windows 10 from 7 reinstalled prepar 3d v3 thats when the acars problem started please look at the beta because it's not locating v3 in the install procedure

Charles, what specific error are you running into? Just telling me that it's not working doesn't give me a good direction to solve the problem.

Luke I think the problem is hes not seeing the P3D v3 icon during the flight simulator prompt when installing ACARS.

Setup is not picking up prepar3d v3 nothing is installed no icon on start up screen. and Luke the link you posted didn't work. Tomorrow I'm going to format disk, Reinstall windows 7 AND REINSTALL PREPAR3D V3 .

have you tried to install FSUIPC before installing ACARS? I had the same issue as you and did that and it installed just fine
