Kevin…can you believe 2000 flight legs..??

I came to DVA because of my real world love of Delta, Northwest, Western and Hughes Airwest 727 jetliners.
I flew them a lot in the business world during their service life on flights throughout the western US.

I just couldn’t find any other virtual airlines with the ability to log 727 flight legs, but then found DVA.
What a great experience it has been..!! I attempt now if at all possible to fly into a destination, then
continue from that location on to the next destination and so forth.

While flying, I usually read up and learn about where I’m flying into. DVA offers a great way to learn detailed
geography and history all at the same time. I have learned an enormous amount about our world.

Here’s my flight numbers at 2,000 DVA flight legs.
Total Hours: 4027.1
Total Passengers: 268,561
Total Miles: 1,490,843 (almost 1.5 million!)

Top DVA aircraft flown:
• B727-200 = 1417 legs, 193,196 passengers. 1.86 hours / 659 miles avg.
• B727-100 = 199 legs, 23,351 passengers. 1.16 hours / 341 miles avg.
• DC-10-30 = 74 legs, 15,832 passengers. 6.64 hours / 3146 miles avg.
• ERJ-170 = 56 legs, 3378 passengers, 1.04 hours / 266 miles avg.
• ATR-72 = 52 legs, 3064 passengers, .80 hours / 129 miles

Combined, I have 80.1% of my total flight legs logged in the cockpit of the Boeing 727 series.
For longer flight legs, I’ll fly the DC-10, L-1011 or MD-11 series aircraft. For short field flights
or regional flights, I’ll use the ERJ or ATR turboprops.

I’ve recently renovated the home office adding with a nice butcher block L-shaped desk. I will shortly
have two computers running five monitors for my DVA flight simulator flights. Two of the monitors
will be mounted on the wall along with a television set for watching baseball games. Go Pittsburgh Pirates!

My favorite flight simulator flight still is Los Angeles to Portland on a Delta 727 with a dusk departure.

Happy flights my blessed friends!
cool
