I cannot log into the ACARS server for some reason. Can someone please help me? Every website I go to I have no problems. Loads up quick. DVA website is a different story. SLOW,SLOW,SLOW!!!!!! This all for a solid day now. I have noticed that people are posting in the cooler so am I the only one with this issue? It takes me about 5 minutes to login and get to the cooler in the first place, and with fiber internet that should not happen. I need help with this. I cannot use ACARS, I keep getting this:

It's likely the network. Try running a traceroute and see what results you get.
Cheers!

As best I can tell you're getting some packet loss between your ISP and Amazon, but it's just a guess. The latency isn't horrible. When I traceroute back from the server I get a few timeouts.
Cheers!

So if I cannot log into ACARS will I still be able to file pireps? What I mean is there a limit to how many non ACARS pireps allowed. And if it doesn't start working how do I take xheckrides?

Matt,
You may use ACARS to fly off-line. Flight data is stored and when convenient filed manually in the Pilot Center. Suggest that you submit when able and not accumulate a large number of flights. There is no limit to the number of off-line ACARS flight reports that you can submit. Likewise, there are no limits to non-ACARS flight reports submitted. As you may know, non-ACARS flights are not promotion eligible. ACARS use is required for Checkrides.
We encourage ACARS use for its feature rich services and ease in filing reports. Suggest that you create a Help Desk Issue requesting help to resolve connection issues.
Regards,
Terry
