Thanks Elise. I am busy rebuilding a server to hols all my FS data. But it was nice to be designated as a piston prop professional. I tend to fly DC props unless I have to stage or return from places beyond the capability of the DC props. However, I enjoy flying Piper's prop over short distances. The workload flying the DC props reminds me when I was a student pilot in the real world. I thought Cessna props were demanding but they are very, very easy when compared to the vintage DC props. I usually fly Amelia Earhart's WTW legs on the anniversary of the AE w/Noonan disappearance. Using the old time distance formulas, celestial navigation, and figuring the correct drift computations really shows the depth of her knowledge along with Fred Noonan's experience really paints a picture of early aviation navigation. Those pilots during those times were gentle giants blazing the world for pilots today. I fly the world route every year in a Lockheed L-10E modified like the one that AE & FN flew in 1937; and all my data comes from TIGHAR, The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery. Every year I receive information and try the flight data to see what the both of them encountered and how they may have dealt with those challenges. It does get interesting when I fly the leg where they disappeared, so it is flown in remembrance.

But anyway, thanks for the congrats! smile
