I'm working on the US Coastal Club and am wondering has there been any thought of replacing the closed KPFN (Panama City FL) with its real world replacement KECP (Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport)?
KECP is on the current rw Delta schedule and it would make flight planning and chart use easier if there was an open airport in that area to use.
Thanks.

Interesting idea. I do like the old closed airport but we could add KECP to the list (but not change the number required) so that pilots could choose which one to fly to. How about that?

"I do like the old closed airport ..."
Who else sees Drew working on his next challenge. Flying into closed airports! That big X just means it's the TDZ and those old tires laying on the runway are a new stopping method to FAA is trying out. :rolleyesl"

Yes! closed airports accomplishment coming soon.... Or, non airports accomplishment. you must land 2000 feet short and take down the forest on your approach. I will name it the Green Baron Club!
