good morning guys/girls! i was going to use the PMDG TOD pause to take a flight while i was work and come home to finish it, but i wanted to know if i could do that with the ACARS program.

ACARS will detect and record the pause, but other than that you should be OK.

Note that ACARS will disconnect after you've been paused for a period of time.
Don't forget to also reconnect to ACARS when you resume your flight.
If you don't, ACARS won't collect the data from the point where you paused.

ACARS will happily continue to record data when you are offline. Where things get sticky is if you pause for more than 24 hours or so.
