Yikes. I haven't tried, but you may be running up against a brick wall there. I'm pretty sure the 10-series cards came out long after the official End of Life for Windows XP. I know there's still some love out there for Windows XP but, from a developer standpoint, an argument could be made against investing resources into supporting an obsolete system. There was a big change in how the drivers are made between Windows XP and Windows Vista, so I think you'll have a challenging time attempting to make any Vista+ drivers work on the XP system. Good luck, though!

depends are u running 64bit xp or 32 bit. probably won't work at all anyways as they didn't make a driver for such an old OS.

I did find out how to rewrite some of the code in the install program and it did the install to work for xp windows. (I have a duel l boot system) only problem now is, the HDMI port on the card will not work with XP, but everything works on
the DVI-D port. my guess is that HDMI was not around till win 7 and higher came out and they use a different format structure, so a whole new program has to be written. but I will have to say that the graphics and the frame
rate is great (holding 45 fps for flight sim X)

Interesting. Congrats. If your technical aptitude is sufficient to rewrite the installers (I wasn't assuming this), an avenue I'd recommend for you (if you haven't already) would be to take another older driver as a reference and see if you can adapt some of the coding to the driver you're hacking compatibility into. Maybe grab a driver from an older GPU that had HDMI & drivers for XP (https://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_archive.html) and see if you can adapt the code?
Good luck

Thanks Tyler, I think I will look in to that, there might be some hope there and thanks for the web site that I can get them from.

Let me know how that works!
Out of curiosity, I looked into it a little bit more. According to The Internet*, the GTX 960 (much newer than any of the drivers on that link I sent you) was the last/most modern GPU to support Win XP. Perhaps digging through that driver might yield something a little more compatible with your GPU. Again, YMMV, I don't know how fundamentally different the 9 series is from the 10 as far as a driver is concerned.
Have you come across this thread [https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/939207/geforce-drivers/windows-xp-drivers-for-geforce-1060-1070-1080-/post/5227084/#5227084]?

... at some point it's strongly worth considering an OS upgrade. XP is getting less and less supported.
Cheers!
