What is the possibility of starting a Emb-170/175 Program?

With the removal of Express Jet as a DCI Contractor and the addition of Skywest the EMB fleet in Delta has grown exponentially in the last year. The operation at LGA is at least 1/3 170/175 between Republic and Skywest and it would be a great addition here at DVA! So I was just wondering what is the possibility of creating this program/Rating?

I took a look and found this:

Delta total fleet including connection carriers: 1362

Delta Mainline 904 (66%)
Delta Connection 458 (33%)

Delta E170-E190 series: 126 (9% of total fleet)
Others: 332 (24% total fleet)

Keep in mind LGA is not a major Delta Hub. Yes,they just fixed up their terminal but the LGA runways prevent anything bigger than a 757/A321 from being served there. I'll gauge some interest here before making any change. Its worth thinking about and considering.

I would be interested in such a program if one of the developers would get around to making a higher quality 170/190. I check every year or so, but the FeelThere E-Jets v2 product seems to be the best available for those aircraft, and unfortunately I'm just not interested: I want (and am willing to pay) more from the aircraft, if I'm going to spend anything at all on it.

I have the E-jets via Steam for FSX SE. The cockpit is very FS2004-like. But, the aircraft looked good on the outside and the FMC worked well. It also handled very well for hand flying. I wouldn't consider it an A-level payware but it was better than most freeware aircraft. I think I flew it a few times. It was on sale at the time for $10 or something.

I have the SSG E-jets 170 and 195 for X-Plane and fly them frequently. My main 3 aircraft here are the E170/737/757. Just my 2 cents.

Also looked at DVA metrics:

In the last 3 months, there were 464 E170/E175 flights. That's 5/day and 150/month. That's a very good representation of flights for our airline!

I think either an E170/175 program, or some type of differentiating program from what we have now would be extremely welcome. Simply my two cents, but once more come online I wonder if there would be any interest in an A350 program?

In the short term though, considering this is the direction Delta seems to be going in fleet wise, an E70 program would be welcome.

Should this now be the Boeing-Brazil 170/175 and 190/195 now?

Very good comments. Be sure to vote in the poll in the other thread. I'm starting to consider this more seriously and putting together a to-do list of what I need to do to make it happen. its not as easy as flicking a switch LOL.
