Hello, so I am a new Pilot in this virtual airline, and I already love it. However, I did encounter some weird issue. I have now as I post this thread completed 5 flights in the MD88 program, but I would like to also get an additional rating on the B737. I go to Pilot center to see how to do this and this is what I am told; "You are eligible to transfer to or request additional ratings in the following equipment types upon successful completion of the First Officer's examination for these equipment programs: CRJ-200, EMB-120, A320, B737-800." But then under that statement this is what it says; "You will not be eligible for equipment type transfers or additional ratings in equipment type programs in Stage 2 or above until you become eligible for promotion to Captain in the MD-88 or another Stage 2 equipment program." So then which is the real answer, can I get additional rating after 5 flights as a First officer in the MD88 or not? If I can do this then where do I go to take the First officer examination for the other rathings??
I also whent to Promotion Eligibility area and it says; "You are eligible to take but have not passed the 737 First Officer examination" Where do I go for this test to get the additional rating?
Also to clarify, I noticed in Pilot Center it would always tell me that I need to atleast complete 5 out of 10 flights as a First officer in order to get additional ratings in the Stage 2 or 1. However once comepleted it is not clarified where to go for the test's.

Look for the "Testing Center" - that's where you take all of the exams.
Cheers!

Hiya Domminick, welcome to the airline, you'll have a great time here. On you last sentence, it can be a little confusing at first on ratings and such, but go here www.deltava.org/library/Pilots Manual.pdf (what you are looking for it starts in page 15), and if you still a little confuse ask away and I am sure someone will be able to answer your questions. Have fun and good luck.

Hello again so I took my test and for some reason it told me I failed, when I know for sure some of those answers were correct. I even used open notes and used the real life range of the B737-800 and it still said I was wrong. I had 3 questions that were marked wrong but yet, I used the info from the 737 pilot manual and the range from the real life aircraft, can someone please verify, I am not lying, and I believe I was scored wrongly on 3 questions, which at that point I should be at a passing grade.
The questions I belive I was marked wrongly were
The maximum range of the Boeing 737-800 is...
I put 3060nm which is what it really is when you type on Google "maximum range of a 737-800"
What is the total fuel flow for the Boeing 738 at FL350?
I put ''1,450 PPH' which is what I was told from the 737 Pilot Manual page 29
And
What is the total fuel flow for the Boeing 738 at FL300?
I put "1,600 PPH" Which also came from 737 Plot Manual page 29
Can someone please verify and exempt me from this issue, I belive I did earn my addtional ratings and the questions were marked wrongly

Sorry to hear you didn't pass the exam. I've failed a few myself. Please reach out to the 737 program staff if you believe there are problems with the examination. You can find out how to contact them on our staff page.
Cheers!

Well somehow I was given an opportunity to retake the test less than 24 hours and I did pass second time, and now it is just time to wait till I get approved to be certified for the B737 additional Rating. In addition I will report the issue with the 737 test. Thanks again to everyone who helped me!

As Luke said, contact the chief or ACP of the 737 program as listed in the staff listing and they can help you walk thru the things you want to accomplish. Welcome to the best Virtual airline.
