Question on changing program groups. If I move into a new program to complete captain status and decide to later return to a program I already have captain status in, will that require a new checkride again although I've already taken a previous checkride in that program? Example: I have captain status in CRJ200, A320, MD88, 737, 757, 727. I'm currently in 727 program. I have passed checkride for 767 and want to move into 767 program to get captain status. Will it require a new checkride to move back to the 757 or 737 program? Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks.

Brandon,

So if you move to the 767 program after passing the checkride, you will have to fly 10 valid flights on ACARS and then take and pass the Captains exam then you’ll be promoted to captain. Now if you wanted to transfer back to the 727 program after completing that, then you can and you’ll be back in the 727 program as a captain. wink

Thanks Joe, I knew about the 10 flights for captain just was hoping I could transfer back to the others easily as I'd like to complete some of the flight accomplishments there. Thanks!
