Greetings all,
On behalf of the DVA operations team, we wanted to update you all regarding the known issues we have been seeing with airports and our DVA accomplishments. As some of you all know we have been having issues with our accomplishments with airports no longer operating in the real world, and or pilots who aren't able to locate scenery or information for older airports. We have good news. We have found a resolution to our accomplishments in regards to defunct airports in the real world. In order to support older simulator platforms and same for newer simulator platforms we have updated the airports to support optional airports. Listed below are the airports we have updated.
Four Corners Club - KSGU (current St George Airport), KDXZ (Old St. George Airport) you can have the option to fly to either depending on simulator scenery.
Eurocap Club - EDDT (Berlin Bradenburg Current Airport, and yes we have implemented flights to Berlin Bradenburg), EDDT (Berlin-Tegel no longer open in real world) EDDX (Berlin Schönefeld, no longer open in real world) are optional airports you can fly to depending on simulator platform and scenery.
Any airport pairing you find that is not operational in the real world operations will be marked (Old) in our Airport database. We hope that by utilizing this will assist you all as pilots in determining flying to the older airports and particularly for DVA accomplishments. Again we have made it "optional" for you all to fly to any of the airport pairings. We will be looking at our other DVA accomplishments for similar anomalies and issues. As always if you happen upon an issue or have a question, please feel free to create a help desk ticket and we will gladly take a look and see if we can find a resolution.
