Thank you this was an achievement held close to my heart although it was a long time coming as my Father worked as a Mechanic for Northeast Airlines in Boston,Bangor and Presquile Main when the DC3 was in service. So completion of this achievement was done in honor of his memory. On an interesting note from Northeast he move to American Export Airlines in New York as a mechanic on the VS44 Flying Boats which flew from KLGA Marine Terminal across the Atlantic to Great Britain. One of the three VS 44s that was used called Excambian is now on display at the New England Air Museum in Winsorlocks, Connecticut adjacent to Bradley Field. I was able to take Dad there in 1998 to see the aircraft a special experience for us both.
