Does anyone use a 49" Ultra Wide Gaming Monitor for your flight sim? How do you like it?
If you use dual monitors, what size monitors do you prefer.
What gives you a better overall experience/view, 1 ultra wide 49" for two big dual monitors?

I don’t use a 49 inch monitor however mine I believe are 18.5 or 20? I can’t remember. I do use dual and love it. I keep all programs like acars, SLC, FSRealtime and vpilot on one monitor then the other is reserved for my flight simulator.

Thanks for your feedback Joe! I have two 24" monitors right now. I can't make up my mind if I want to upgrade to the 49" for two 27". I don't know if I will be happy with the one 49" screen when it comes to using multiple windows with multiple programs being utilized at once. Too much money to invest if I am not happy LOL. I am looking for the wisdom of my fellow simmers.

I have 3 monitors. Each is 22-24”. Can’t remember. They are all hooked together with Triple Head 2 Go. I have a captain side wrap around view. The peripheral view adds to the realism. I can send you a picture if you’d like. Just email me.

I was running 5 monitors and now just have one big one. I like the one big one. I open FS, FS Tramp, ACARS, FS Realtime, FS CoPilot, Vatspy, Vpilot, AS 16, ASCS, extra FS views., PACX and more and they all own a bit of real estate on the big screen. The resolution is good all readable. I had my multiple monitors side by side and in tiers and it was a bit hard on the neck and the eyes. You're always thinking that one of those critters was one day going to fall on your head and permanently cripple you. You nearly have to be Mac Gyver. The wiring spaghetti was a bother and all the ports at the back of the graphics card meant a bit of logistics just to plug em all in and get them to play nicely together. Now one screen, one wire, one port. I'm happy.
Best regards
Mike

I run a 34" 1440P Curved Ultrawide as my Simulator monitor and I have a 27" 4K off to the side for my Navigraph, VATSIM, and performance charts. I would upgrade to the Larger monitor for the Sim and keep one of the two off to the side for all of the other things, below is an older shot of how I have it setup.

I am running a very much like setup. One screen 27' Full HD for XPlane and the second, my Laptop 17' for everything else. Very pleased so far.

I also use 3 monitors, side by side, middle for my flight sim, left for navigraph, and right for acars and simbrief, co pilot and vatsim. I have never had 1 large, so I do not know if thats better or not. Its good to hear all the other comments on that. When I fly my cessna, I use all 3 for viewing that and it doesnt kill my fps.

I have an ultrawide to view with Tobii eye tracker and a separate 32inch monitor off to the side for acars, vatsim, simbrief and navigraph, etc. MSFS2020 stretches items out on the edges and it's a bit annoying, but it's still visually better than a single 32 inch monitor.
