Hello all, decided to make a post today to keep active and maybe help me out with an issue that's put me off simming for the past few months (apart from real flying...)
Back in September, I was thankful to do my first DeltaVA flight in 2 years after moving apartments and being able to set up my sim again. Unfortunately though, after I landed that flight, the thrust reverser on my MD-82 would not stow. As it would happen, this was the result of a small wire in my Honeycomb Bravo base breaking, rendering my thrust reverser inoperative. Unfortunately, as I was playing with the A310 a day later, the #2 thrust reverser wire was also severed.
I don't have a warranty with Honeycomb anymore as it has been too long since I got my Bravo. I emailed them for support, but due to recent issues, they are unable to provide any support to me whatsoever. It left me disappointed and put me off flight simulation yet again.
Has anyone else also experienced this issue? What was your fix? I hope to hear from many of you on this issue.
Thank you!

I remember seeing a video on yourube a long time ago, where a guy showed how to repair broken wires.. I just do not remember what it was called. You might try searching on youtube to see if you can find that video.. wish I could help more

I had an issue with the control shaft "E" clip coming off where the entire assembly was moving all over. https://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x246e1
I opened it all up and there are some videos on YouTube that show you how to do that.
Sounds like you have a good idea of what's inside.
I had repeated problems with my CH Pro Pedal wiring. I reduced the number of problems by buying small gauge wire with silicone insulation and used heat shrink to cover the slip-on connections.
Possibly the wire routing is leaving the wire where it is vulnerable to mechanical wear?

Thank you all for the help! Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to dig into the controller and fix the wiring. I'll probably have to key another button to act in place of the levers.
