How does one get rated for the new A220?

Hi John, If you ever did a checkride in the A320 then you can request an additional rating in the A320 and then you can get it.
If not then you have to do a checkride in the A320 and then you can request the additional ratings. Also for the Neo’s.

Hello Peter, I saw this post and am intrigued as I have the A320 rating and would like to get the A220 as well. However, when I go to the "Request additional ratings" tab in the Pilot profile all I get is the B738, B727. No mention of the A220 or even the A320. What am I overlooking?

Hi Jim, as far as I can see you got already your A220 rating.
If you check your pilot center and then your aircraft availible you can see as nr 1 and 2 on the list the A220-100 and A220-300. Your A220 ratings are added at 01-12-2022.

And I see in your logboek you’re already flying the A220. Am I missing something now?
