I managed to move a little farther in the past week with DVA2006. We're actually starting to duplicate some of the web site function, with a sortable roster, staff roster, system news and a semi-working Fleet Gallery. I'm starting to get into a rythym where I can duplicate 1 or 2 functions every few days, so things should start fleshing themselves out very quickly. My goal is to get the login and Pilot Center working by the end of the month.
Cheers!

Would it be possible to add a "request program change" form to the website? It would be easier than having to email the chief pilot. Also, will DVA2006 actually be launched just in 2006?

One of my goals for DVA2006 is to provide tracking for promotions. I haven't received a request for a "request promotion" function, but it seems like a good one. I'll add it. I should have a basic public test version for y'all to kick around soon.
And Bill, you can bring *ME* the beer.
cheers!

I am just wondering if you could add a function that will allow me to go into the Air France Pilot center, and get the European charts, because when I fly around Europe, I don't have any charts.

Even today, DVA and AFV share one or two parts of the database - and the Charts are one of them. Pilots in both airlines currently get access to each other's charts. Our European chart coverage is rather weak.
My goal is to improve things with DVA, but I am desperately trying to avoid using PDFs for charts - they're too darn heavy.
Cheers!

I find that converting PDF charts into GIF ones makes them much easier to use. I do that with all of my europe charts.
