I figured the least I could do was give you all the excuse why I have been so distant lately. I've managed to get DVA2006 into a state where a lot of the "Read" transactions are working, like PIREPs, system news, navigation data and the Water Cooler. The "write" transactions still need to be debugged, like posting new PIREPs and screen shots. The admin interface is barely functional (unless you want to execute direct SQL queries against the database) and the examinations, events and application code is non-existent. Seriously, it's a 2006 project.

However, there are enough screen shots that you can take a peek at what I have been up to. You will notice very little different in the user interface, but some interesting functionality additions.

Let's start off with editing a Pilot Profile. Here's mine. Not too different:

Luke, What's with the check boxes in the ratings? I'm guessing that this is more of an "Admin" view of things? Looks good. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

A suggestion,
I think that pilots should be able to edit their own profile and the ratings (that they have taken tests for) that they want to show up under addtional ratings. Like for example, I have a EMB-120 rating but im never going to need it. I should be able to take it off my pilot profile (remeber, just an example :). In the manual, it says (or i think it says) that people are encouraged to have the ratings that they fly the most so they keep knowlege of those frequently used aircraft. Just a suggestion that I think would be a cool feature to add!
