It is done on the UPSVAC site. They have a different form of online airline simming. You fly what ever aircraft is assigned on that route. This can be good if you like flying different aircraft all the time. This can be bad because if you change aircraft all the time you never get proficent on any one aircraft. Because of the constant change in aircraft, flight "time" is used for the promotions not flight "abillity". wink

This functionality already exists. You can search for random flights on the "Find a Flight" link in the Pilot Center, select them and turn them into a Flight Assignment.
