Delta does not operate any Airbus aircraft, some of the code share partners do. I don't know of any code share flights that operate the A380 though. When/if this changes, I am sure that the fleet will be updated and/or ratings will be added for the the A380.
In the mean time, aren't there any other flights in the schedule that interest you?

Best to do as Norm said, log your first flight so you can get a pilot ID.

I don't really think Delta would need an A380. To begin with, they don't even have any Airbus aircraft. Some members of SkyTeam and other codeshare partners may order the A380 but I highly doubt Delta (or any American airliner, except maybe United or Northwest) ordering one.

At the moment I don't think there's any American airlines planning on the A380. If any did, yeah, I agree with Tyler, it'd be UAL or Northwest. I just don't see where any airlines in the US *need* the A380, though. It's more designed for that high-density medium-longish-haul traffic like you find in the Far East and the Mideast.

Odds of Delta getting a A380 (or any other Airbus aircraft) are about .05% Delta, American, and Continental each signed Boeing exclusivity contracts years ago. They technically don't exist today as the European Union fought Boeing about it. but all three airlines are still "unofficially" abiding by them. So don't plan on seeing either of these airlines flying Airbus for years to come.

I think Airbuses are great for any airline due to there fleet commonality. From the A318 to the A340 the flightdecks are very simaler, while Boeing flightdecks may vary greatly.

But I do hope FedEx will reconsider in buying the A380F. They can carry more volume than the 777. If I'm not mistaken one A380 can carry the load of two or three 777's. Since Delta once flew the A310, I wonder if there is a A310 F/O test.

I like A & B (lean more towards B) but I honestly don't see the point of the A380, especially in today's market. Yes, yes, people are going to say "that's hat they said about the 747 thirty years ago and that is true but even today, how much more capacity has the 747 gaines since the -100? To me this was a big gamble on Airbus' part and I don't see them breaking even on the line.

Once Airbus works out the bugs and the A380 regulary rolls off the assembly line, the Freighter version will see a lot of work. I really hope FedEx will reconsider there order for the A380. Whoever said that it won't carry much PAX is right, but it will get a lot of cargo loads. Lufthansa is planning regular A380 service to KORD, but I forgot what year it will be. In just a few years I think.
