Just a thought. It would seem more organized and efficient to me if we added more specific topics to the forums. For example, adding links for specific categories of aircraft. It would be nice for the 757 pilots to have a forum, ect. This way, those thinking of adding or changing ratings can see what others are talking about. Problems, questions, things they love about their category and the like would be more easily visible.
I write this suggestion having no idea if it has been tried or what work and time would be involved in creating it. Just a thought, no criticism intended about the current system.

Good idea. I typed "757" but did not get a match. I was not aware of the search abilities. My concern would be that the person posting a thread would have to have 757 or something similar, 752, 753, in the thread title for it to work.
I may be missing something(I usually do).

If for example you wanted to get info on 757 engine out procedures, i just typed "757 engine out" and selected the box thats marked "search subjects as well as message body" and many results came up, alot answering the question.

I typed 757 approach and checked the boxes you suggested and got a lot of discussion, most not related to the 757 or an approach. Lots of discussion about the 737,767,777, etc.

Excellent idea, Michael. I have on may occassions typed in CRJ or CRJ 200 and received alot of misc info. It would be nice just to click on CRJ, 757, etc to get info related just to the type of aircraft

I agree, but from a slightly different standpoint. There is now so much activity on the forum, that it can take a while to look through all of the new postings, especially if only checking every few days. By having aircraft categories, it helps to narrow down new topics on the forum that I'm interested in looking at.

Thanks Erin, that's my point, exactly. There is so much activity and so much valuable information that I think having it organized will benefit us all.:)

Agree all the way, and as Luke said-one for each program not each aircraft because that would be too complicated.
