I'm not too crazy about the cabin but the flightdeck looks cool on the 787.

I don't know about the cockpit. From the pictures I've seen it seems a bit much. . .well plastic.
I'm more of the traditional "square metal cockpit" kinda guy, so I'm a bit skeptic to all this "round plastic cockpit"
Apart from that it looks great and I hope to be flying in it someday, although it might take a while before any scandinavian
carriers get the 787.

The thing that gets me is the aerodynamacy of the jet. I saw a video where it was in the wind tunnel being tested and let me tell you - flawless.
I too, really hope that they do something with the 787. I also hope they create a few variants.

Delta better hey on the ball and order some of these babies or they are gonna end up back in financial troubles. This aircraft is going to be so economical any airline not flying it will be losing out to the airlines that do fly it. So far boeinh has over 600 of these babies already sold and if Delta were to order one today they would not receive it until 2015. So the longer they wait the more behind all the other airlines they will be.

I think its going a little too far. American flies Airbus (A300) and United does too(the A320 series). Airbuses are just as good as Boeings.

That's why I think Delta should fly it. I don't mean to turn this into an A vs. B thread, but I think that Boeing is unique. Airbus created the A380 and Boeing isn't creating a competitor in its class. Boeing creates the 787 and airbus creates the A350 right afterwards. They look exactly the same and are using the same design (composites).

No its a complete redesign of the A330, System wise and basic design is far diffrent than the 787. Basicly, the upgrades to the A330 are so great it might as well be a diffrent plane. Now Boeing they came up with somthing brand new although the 748 could use a upper full deck.
