You'll actually notice the title "Delta Virtual Airlines 2006" in the disclaimer text at the bottom of each page. This is the name of the project that I undertook in late 2004 to create a new web site for the virtual airline, and the name was derived from when we expected to launch it. As it turns out, that took place in late 2005 - we were a little bit early.
At some point either I or my successor is going to decide that the current site no longer meets our strategic need, and they'll develop DVA 2010, or 2012 or whenever they aim to release it.
Cheers!

Thanks for the DVA history lesson.
When/if the time comes for a successor, they'll sure have some big shoes to fill!

LOL @ Oliver. Don't bash me for not knowing my DVA history, but when was this website founded and how many mebers would you say you had after a full year of it running? Also, is anybody, still around from those days/or who's been here the longest? Just curious.
