How many correct do you need to get a promotion on the promotion test? I got 15/20 and thought that was pretty good!

You were really really close - give it another go - you need 16/20 for EMB-120 Captain - and don't worry, you're not the first and won't be the last who gets close but has to try again.
If you need help with any area of the exam, create a helpdesk issue and we'll do our best to help you understand whatever it is you are having an issue with.

I never took the EMB exam, but all the other exams that got me from CRJ first officer to Captain in the 767 has been a long road... Lots of exams returned with a big "F." Be sure to read your aircraft manual. Also, the flight encyclopedia was just updated not too long ago-it has some great information, a lot of which are on the test.

I know how you felt, I couldn't believe I couldnt pass the first exam on my path up the metal, but I actually felt better when I did and really respected the airlines for really putting an emphasis on perfessionalism that is expected, for some of us that might never get up in real life, its a great place to be and feel like the real thing. Congrats Daniel, maybe we can fly out togther sometime.

Max-quick tip-in your motto you need to make it "WE FLY HIGH, NO LIE, YOU KNOW THIS" to make it actual.

Haha, Max, thats funny motto, hopefully its incorrect haha, and I hear ya, it is rough, thats why I think it would be good to be promoted to first officer when you pass the test, then fly 10 flights and do the check-ride to be a captain, just my theory, but I understand the steps.
