I was wondering if there is a way as on some forums to bring you directly to the unread posts in a particular thread when you click on that thread instead of having to find where you left off last time you read a thread completly.

That's why the ones that have been updated since you last read them show up in yellow highlight the next time you log in.

Yes I understand that the thread is in yellow. But i was wondering if there is or could be a way to click on something in the thread to make u automatically go down to where the new posts in the thread are. I've seen this done in other forums before just can't find it here.

That's a good idea. File an Issue in the Issue Tracker so I don't forget.

There is a "new threads" option you can click on the very left side-but this doesn't always seem to be accurate with me...

I misunderstood your question when I gave my earlier response, Matt. Sorry. Now I understand that you were asking if there was a way to take you to new posts within the threads instead of scrolling down when some of them get long.

Yea, that would be nice for threads with like 20 or more posts. Kinda pointless for short threads, but it would be convienent.

I like the current system even for long threads, it isn't that hard to scroll down.

The question we need to ask now is if we were to create something like this, how would it be organized?
I think we should have a drop down menu of dates, like getting NAT tracks, and all the threads that were posted that day come up. This would also allow you to view the most current.

This is too weird. Today i'm clicking on threads and I find myself in the middle! I actually thought it was a glitch. Then I see this thread to see what you guys are talking about and I find the answer to the mystery "middle thread" thing.
Cool feature at any rate.
