Edit: nope sorry, should have checked the link first. I think I know what you're talking about as I had it in my bookmarks, I guess I deleted it.

Edit again: ok, I found it. Here's what you're talking about: http://www.vuzix.com/iwear/products_vr920.html

I believe that Andy K has this product (Vuzix - VR920). http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0xaf3d

Personally I use the Track IR.

I have TrackIR and the Vuzix. The Vuzix I have to say is pretty cool, very good product - and works for most 1st person games - but very disorientating. I used it in FarCry, FSX and FS9, Call of Duty - and it works as advertised - and is an almost complete immersion view. But I have since left it in my travel bag and I use it now primarily for watching movies on long flights - it is excellent.

If you have a choice for practicality - get TrackIR Pro.

Just wondering, how does that work with reading charts or trying to find the screen shot button on the keyboard, or typing in a non ATC place and task switching?

if you are comfortable using the keyboard without looking - no issues. If you have to constantly look under them to find keys, etc...I recommend against it - and sticking with TrackIR

Sounds like TrackIR is the thing. What's the limitations of track IR?
