I downloaded and installed DVA ACARS V3 today and it wouldn't work with my FSUIPC so I had to redownload and install that. After that, ACARS worked fine, but now my Radar Contact 4.3 gets an FSUIPC error and crashes within a minute or 2 after I start the flight on ACARS. Without ACARS connected to FSX, RC works fine. I'm getting pretty frustrated with all this since I'm new to DVA and already have spent the last 12 hours just trying to get everything to work again. Everything worked fine before I installed ACARS. My FSUIPC worked, FSPX worked, Active Sky Next worked, all my addon scenery, textures and aircraft worked. Now since I installed ACARS first FSUIPC failed, then I got that fixed and now RC4.3 is failing. I can't find the problem so I don't know of a solution. Like I said. Radar Contact works fine without ACARS running. So far, RC4.3 is the only thing still messing up.
I've searched the forums on DVA and also RC support on AVSim and I can't find the solution.

This threat is the closest I've found to my problem, but no solution was ever offered

I already rebuilt the scenery DB in RC, and I already reinstalled ACARS. FSUIPC works fine on FSX. with ACARS already connected to the flight, RC opens the window as it should by sometime between WX and CDL it will stop responding and give a runtime error 76 about FSUIPC. Without ACARS running, RC does not crash and works throughout a full flight with no issues. Everything related to FSX is set in its own folder outside of Program Files (windows 7 issue) and all FSX related programs are set as Run as Administrator.

I did a full uninstall and reinstall of FSUICP, ACARS, and Radar Contact and the issue is still there. However, I've found if I rebuild the scenery database and run MakeRWYs before each flight, I do not have the issue.

Anyone???? I see all these posts in here about how a lot of people use Radar Contact on DVA so I'm still waiting for help from someone who knows what to do. Its extremely frustrating to have to try to get a flight to work with RC and ACARS and to be honest if I have to give up DVA or Radar Contact, it's going to be DVA. Radar Contact cost me real money, DVA did not. The only help I've gotten so far was to reinstall FSUIPC. I've already done that many times and it is still not working right.
I was able to rebuild the scenery DB in RC before each and every flight and then start up ACARS last and it would work, but that is no longer working

I'm not sure what I can do. This sounds like a Radar Contact bug. Have you approached the authors of this software?
Cheers!

I have contacted Radar Contact developers. Since this issue only is when I use DVA ACARS, they insist that it is not their problem

Radar Contact is kinda junk anyways. I have been using PFE for years with no problems, and it sounds and works better than RC too. Not really a solution, but I would advise using PFE for your ATC needs if you can swing the extra cash.
